UFO Wednesday

This week I sewed a load, and I’m really happy. This is incredibly easy to stitch compared to the last lot of Christmas tags I did.

Wednesday 12th December

As you can tell, this is going to be a Christmas tree. I’m hoping to get it finished by next week, although I am a little nervous about the backstitching. My past few attempts haven’t been very neat and I’d really like to work on getting it tidier. I think you can now see what I meant by the rustic feeling colours. The other colours in the kit are brown, with red being the only bright one.

I’m really enjoying taking part in UFO Wednesdays. It’s nice to have the encouragement of the rest of the group and see how they are progressing. I’m hoping to talk one or two of them into making a guest appearance here as they’re all really talented stitchers.
